Production

The engagement begins with a creative brief that defines the communication objective, audience, message, channel, duration, budget and required deliverables. The Art Director develops the central idea, references, narrative approach and visual language in alignment with the brand. A script, treatment, storyboard or shot list is prepared according to the project type.

Pre-production plans the crew, schedule, location, studio, set, products, talent, styling, make-up, equipment and permits. Responsibility for each item is assigned to the agency, client or a third party. Weather, access, product readiness and licensing approvals are included as dependencies in the shoot plan.

Product, location, team, corporate portrait, architectural or lifestyle photography is planned around its intended use. Websites, e-commerce, catalogues, campaigns and social content may require different framing, ratios, resolution and visual language. Lighting, surfaces, backgrounds, styling and product preparation are tested before the shoot.

Selection, colour, cropping, basic retouching and required product adjustments follow the shoot. Advanced retouching, compositing, generated imagery or a large number of product variations may create additional scope. The number of selected images, file types, resolution and usage areas are stated in the proposal.

Brand films, product stories, advertising, interviews, events, launches and social video are structured around the message and viewing context. Camera, lighting, sound, art direction and performance decisions serve the approved concept. Framing for landscape, vertical and square versions is considered in the shoot plan.

Production may range from a single-crew content shoot to a multi-location project with talent and specialist equipment. Drones, specialist cameras, talent, voice-over, music, locations and travel are not automatically included. Required resources are named alongside the budget, schedule and publishing plan.

Motion design, kinetic typography, logo animation, product visualisation and 2D/3D storytelling can support filmed material or form a complete piece in their own right. Style frames and motion tests establish creative direction before full production. Modelling, simulation, character work, compositing and rendering directly affect timing and cost.

Post-production may include editing, colour grading, sound clean-up and mixing, music, voice-over, graphics, subtitles and effects. Revisions follow defined approval stages. Font, music, stock footage, sound and third-party asset licences are checked according to duration, territory and channel of use.

The master content can be prepared in different durations, ratios, resolutions and file formats for websites, digital advertising, social platforms, presentations, event screens or broadcast requirements. Cut-downs, teasers, silent-viewing versions, subtitles and cover images are separate deliverables. Archive and source-project handover terms are agreed at the outset.

Cost and timing depend on creative development, shoot days, crew size, location, talent, equipment, travel, animation, post-production, revisions and licences. The duration, territory and channels covered by usage rights are stated in the agreement. No specific views, reach, award or commercial outcome is guaranteed.
